With refrence to the parcially reliable Wikipedia: Advertising is a form of communication used to encourage or persuade an audience (viewers, readers or listeners) to continue or take some new action.
This catagorizes your message as an Advertisment and you assert that because I dissagree with it's content I have both right and, if I read between the lines correctly, responsibility to vadalize it to save others from what I consider to be it's detremental influence.
Luckily I do not take such actions and a prefer to engage in polite discussion when I face something I find contriversial. While you are correct that some ads can be quite rude, to respond to them in kind makes your message different words with the same colour.
