The Exhibition that shouldn't exist

0 commenti

The Exhibition that shouldn't exist doesn't have an artist and it isn't art. But it portrays the reality of the irresponsible arms trade around the world, turning visible a violent truth that many don't see.

This exhibition only exists because at every minute, armed violence makes a fatal victim. Because every year, 26 million people are forced to flee from their homes due to armed conflicts.
Because 300 thousand child soldiers are fighting wars and 2 of 3 people killed by armed violence die in countries at peace.

The Exhibition that shouldn't exist is a campaign for Control Arms, a global civil society alliance that is fighting for the Arms Trade Treaty, which will be negotiated on the next UN conference between 18 and 28 of march

Swiss Hemophilia Association - Creative print ad.

0 commenti

Brief
Hemophilia is a hereditary genetic disorder that impairs the body's ability to control blood clotting and makes everyday life for a hemophiliac a serious ordeal. Even a small injury is potentially dangerous. But how do you make this come to life for those who aren't affected?

Solution
A print ad that uses the medium in a surprising way to communicate the message: Every reader has suffered a paper cut - without undue consequences. From the viewpoint of a hemophiliac, however, a normal magazine page is like a razor blade. The resolution comes on the reverse side of the ad: "For a hemophiliac this page is as dangerous as a razor blade."
