Upstairs Downstairs - The Hand-lit billboard

Upstairs Downstairs is a show about two classes under one roof in 1930s England. To demonstrate this clear and often cruel class division, we employed two "downstairs" servants of our own - Samantha and Andrew - to tend to the lighting needs of the "upstairs" portion of the cast on the billboard.

Our servants stood vigil seven nights straight, rain or shine and naturally, on top of their lighting duties, invited onlookers to tune in for the premiere.

Derived from the German adjective Klug (meaning "clever"), Red Bull Kluge combines complex machinery patched together with the energy and prowess of world-class athletes, to see what happens when physics gets physical.

DRAG MACHINE Theater Show - Ambient.

Faucets and pipes throughout Denver were incorporated into each poster to reinforce the message that drag is back in a big way.
